I like today readings very much. The way they have structure both readings. One saying about Anti-Christ and the other on Christ coming. Both of the very truth in our life. John have wrote both readings to remind us of the real truth. The truth that we cannot hide. The truth that we already know. Can we then use these last day of the year to recognize this light of Christ and bear this light.

Sharing - dec 29

I am amazed with the determination of Simeon. He trusted God and waited for the coming of Christ and would not died till he see him and pay respect. Can we then ask if we have ever waited for result. If someone have told us something, would we trust and wait. Today reading have bring to mind patience as a form of faith.

Let us pray that everyone can have this patience with God and others.

Dec 28 - Faith of the Holy Innocents

This is the first day I am writing this blog and I am starting with the Feast day of the Holy Innocents. This is a important day as many innocent have been killed because of one man’s greed and one man’s glory. They died to  signify and a witness of God’s victory. They have not done great things in their life or know about God but they have already been the greatest witness. That is also why I want to start writing this. It is not for my own glory or greed but as a silent witness to God. Been away from my own hometown, I hope to keep in touch with people back home with this blog with faith.

 

I pray that this blog can bear witness to God’s Grace and words to me.
